Forma parte de la prueba de expresión e interacción orales, que dura 12 minutos, más 12 de preparación, y vale 25 puntos. Está en el grupo 2, con la prueba de comprensión auditiva.

Respuesta modelo
Vivo en Alcalá de Henares, una ciudad que está a unos treinta kilómetros de Madrid. Es una ciudad histórica, con una universidad muy antigua y muchas iglesias y plazas. Cervantes nació aquí, y su casa natal hoy es un museo.
Hay muchas cosas que hacer. Los fines de semana paseo por la calle Mayor, que tiene soportales, voy al parque con mis hijos o tomo unas tapas con mis compañeros de trabajo.
Lo que más me gusta es que es una ciudad tranquila, pero tiene de todo, y si quiero ir a Madrid, voy en tren en menos de una hora. Lo que no me gusta tanto es el tráfico por las mañanas y que los alquileres son cada vez más caros.
Llegué aquí hace cuatro años y al principio no conocía a nadie. Ahora tengo amigos y me siento como en casa.

Qué evalúa la tarea 1 de expresión e interacción orales del DELE A2
The official guide describes a short, prepared monologue on a topic from personal life, with a card that breaks the topic into the points your talk should develop. The task tests whether you can give a short prepared talk that describes, in simple terms, parts and experiences of your everyday life around one subject.
Two examiners take part. The interviewer talks with you and gives two marks for the whole test, for use of language (Uso de la lengua) and task fulfilment (Cumplimiento de la tarea). The rater does not take part in the conversation and gives the same two marks for each task. On the rater’s scale for tasks 1 and 2, band 2 for task fulfilment allows one point of the card to go unanswered or two to be answered only in part, and band 3 adds a relevant detail, comment, opinion or reason.
The lesson on speaking task 1 gives the full method for the preparation time and the talk. The speaking timer runs the preparation and speaking times, so you can give the worked card above against the clock.
Trampas habituales
- The guide's band 1 sample talks about most of the card's points, but only in part: it names a destination without saying when, with whom or why. Answering most points only in part puts task fulfilment in band 1.
- The same candidate speaks quickly and hardly pauses, which can sound fluent. With no connectors and very few verbs, though, the raters found the talk confused and hard to follow.
- That monologue did not fill half the time, and the candidate reached several points only through the interviewer's questions. The interviewer's comments on the sample cite the help needed in the monologue and the photo description, and give use of language band 1.

Respuesta modelo
Voy a hablar de la natación, que es mi deporte favorito. Empecé a nadar hace cuatro años, cuando me dolía mucho la espalda por el trabajo. Ahora voy a la piscina del polideportivo los lunes y los jueves, antes de trabajar, y normalmente voy sola, aunque a veces viene mi compañera Silvia.
Me gusta porque en el agua estoy tranquila y no pienso en nada. Además, desde que nado, ya no me duele la espalda. Una vez, en verano, nadé en el mar con un grupo del polideportivo y vimos un pulpo muy grande. ¡Nos dio un susto!
En el futuro me gustaría probar el remo, porque vivo cerca de un río y parece muy divertido.
The opening names the topic, and each point gets a fact and a reason or detail (porque, además, aunque). The candidate moves between the present for habits, the preterite for the start and the story, and me gustaría for the plan. A real answer goes on longer than this, so the story and the last point can grow.
